Carbon8 – Creative Director – Denver

The Position:

We are seeking a creative lead for our design team and for the Carbon8 Denver office. The Creative Director position reports to the President.

This position’s primary duty is creating great design, whether by directing and managing designers on staff or by creating it yourself. Projects may include: branding, digital advertising, website development, printed brochures, infographics, etc. Meeting deadlines is absolutely critical.

Our success is defined as happy clients. In the agency world, deadlines are quick and direction sometimes changes. We are seeking a person with the ability to manage the team’s flood of work with grace and style.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating original design (approximately 25%): Working with the Adobe Creative Suite to produce original websites, logos, print pieces, etc.
  • Managing and coaching the design team (approximately 55%): We currently have five full-time designers who report to the Creative Director. Managing this team involves scheduling work, managing workloads, providing art direction, brainstorming with team members, working with the President and account team to ensure designs meet client needs, and generally being awesome.
  • Presenting design (approximately 20%): The ideal candidate can not only do the work, but also present to clients and help them get excited about the vision.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in design, with extensive digital design experience
  • Desire to build strong relationships with agency team members
  • Direct, assertive, fearless and ready for the challenge with a “roll up your sleeves” work style
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust to changes to satisfy client needs
  • Reliability and a positive attitude

Compensation and Benefits:

Carbon8 – Digital Marketing Manager – Denver

The Position:

Carbon8/The Company is growing their team in the LoHi neighborhood. We’re looking for people that share our passion for advancing client brands and driving conversions online. Currently, we’re looking for a get-stuff-done, master of client-facing SEO and PPC, Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. 

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead efforts to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and effectiveness for existing programs. You will also work closely with the account management team to deliver results for clients. You will serve as the primary client contact for SEO and PPC, provide strategic and creative solutions to answer business needs and leverage the power for the digital space. This role requires you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring all work is executed, and communication goals are set, monitored, measured and evaluated.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering, and executing digital marketing strategy. Part strategist, part researcher/analyst, part technology application expert, and utterly diligent in executing strategy, you understand which digital communication channels best convey the customer’s message or reach the targeted audience and will work closely with internal teams to execute the overall marketing strategy.

Experience Required:

The ideal Digital Marketing Manager has:

  • 3+  years of digital marketing experience, ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience with Google tools (Ads, AdWords Editor, Analytics, Search Console, Google My Business), and Bing tools (Ads + Editor)
  • Highly creative and strategic expertise in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Moz, SEMRush, SpyFu)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
  • Highly creative and strategic expertise in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing PPC and SEO campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of marketing tools (e.g., Sizmek, The Trade Desk or similar programmatic trading system, Google AdWords certification, ComScore is a plus)
  • Experience with tools such as Hubspot, Unbounce, or similar marketing automation tools
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
