Carbon8 Attends PAR Vitality Walk

BY JILL BARTHOLOMEW

The Washington Park neighborhood in Denver, CO was abuzz with excitement and potpourried with vibrant colors the morning of June 7th.

Hundreds gathered to participate in the 13th Annual Vitality Walk -to benefit the Parkinson Association of the Rockies. The Carbon8 Denver office was present - dogs in tow-to help raise awareness and money for a great cause.

The numbers are so staggering (over 170 individuals are diagnosed with Parkinson’s a day), that it was imperative for us to get involved with supporting a group that is a rock on which those diagnosed and their loved ones can lean. We hope that through fundraisers like the Vitality Walk, living well will be possible for all those affected by this disease.

The 3 mile walk was a great time for all those that participated. Young and younger, human and canine, all enjoyed the morning sun. What better way to help out our fellow Coloradoans than to soak up some sun, drink some coffee, and raise some money!
We are happy to announce that with the help of our family and friends, our Denver office was able to raise over $2,000! We hope to participate in many more Vitality Walks to come. If you would like to learn more about the Parkinson Association of the Rockies or would like to participate in next year’s Vitality Walk, check out their website: www.parkinsonrockies.org.
